Question 3080 ti upgrade

Im currently thinking of upgrading between the 5070 ti and the 5080. I have heard the 5080 is really good and can overstock well, but was around a 12-15% upgrade over 5070 ti. From the current market I see 5070 ti at around 800 and the 5080 at around 1400. Is the price difference worth the performance boost? Current specs are 7800x3d, 64gb ddr5 6000, 1200 psu. I play om 1440p but id like to start playing 4k. I also considered amd graphics but I've heard dlss is way better than fsr4. Any tips/help appreciated.

Watch these reviews and then decide.
I'd probably go RX 9070 XT.

On the other hand - RTX 3080 Ti is quite strong already.
5070 Ti is only 35% faster and 5080 is only 50% faster.
I think you'll be disappointed with such a small performance improvement.
100% improvement would be minimum to target, but that is 4090 and 5090 territory.

I would say it isn't worth the added cost, as both cards have 16gb V-ram. My big issues, other than pricing, is the terrible 12v Hi-Power connector, and Nvidia has been stumbling, with regards to 50 series drivers.

I would personally choose a 9070xt, but with regards to performance, I don't think you will see much difference between the two, unless you want RT.

5080 is not worth the added cost. What a avg of 10-12%. For 50% more basically.
