Hello!

I recently upgraded my 4k 60hz monitor to a 4k 144hz.

I can be playing any game and around the 10-15 minute mark the game "crashes" but i am still able to open task manager and operate the PC. But my gpu usage goes from 99% to 0% and after about 1-2 minutes the game continues playing like nothing ever happened. I am running MSI afterburners custom profile that it detected from my equipment.
The games seem to have no issues running and then out of nowhere it just crashes. Any ideas?

As Eximo wrote, I would try limiting the power or under volt the RTX 3080 Ti. I have a Gigabyte RTX 3080 Ti and I used MSI Afterburner to undervolt it to lower the power consumption and temperature and also to get a more stable frame rate.

I used this excellent video to do so: RTX 3080 Ti undervolting guide

Just a matter of testing really. Need to track down the problem before proffering solutions.

Though taking even 100W off the top of a 3080Ti doesn't really hurt it too much. I certainly plan to do so when winter is over.
