[SOLVED] 3090 question size

hi so i wanna get the new 3090 when it comes out, but my main concern is the size of the GPU its HUUUGE, it says on the requirements of the GPU you need 5.4"/138mm clearance but does that include the extra room needed for the PCie cables to poke out the top or not because i measured it and it would fit in my case with literally millimetres to spare but if thats not including the PCie cable then i simply wont be able to get it

Yeah your going to need more most likely, if you look at Digital Foundry's video they show a test setup with the 3080 and the new 12 pin vertical connector, and that end sticks out a good chunk. Just as much as a standard 8 pin would.
