30GB of C drive space has mysteriously vanished...

I have a 120GB SSD as my C drive (111GB usable storage). I noticed it seems fuller than it should be, and after checking the size of individual folders and running WinDirStat to double check, I realised there's about 30GB of space that's mysteriously vanished. All the contents of C add up to about 48GB (including hidden folders), yet it shows as only having 33GB free.

I'd appreciate any suggestions as to how I can find and free up this missing space.

Pagefile should not be taking 30Gb of drive space.

Run Disk Cleanup. This tool removes temporary files, empties the Recycle Bin, and removes a variety of system files and other items that you no longer need.

Uninstall old programs. In addition to deleting old files you no longer want, you can do the same for programs that you no longer use.

Delete all but the most recent restore point. System Restore uses restore points to return your system files to the state they were in at an earlier point in time. If your computer is running normally, you can save disk space by deleting the earlier restore points.

Go to your Temp folder by opening start menu then in the search option Type this -->> %temp% Then in the list click.While in temp folder highlight every thing and Delete to Recycle Bin.There will most likely be one or two things that might not delete they are part of a system.

Run CCleaner wile in the cleaner option. Go down to bottom and check the Wipe free space.This might help bring back some of the lost space.
