The microsoft website lists a link to my problem, but when I click it, I end up back on the page from which I clicked. Can anyone tell me what is in microsoft tech note 314082? I moved a HD to a different chassis (same hardware) and it won't boot. Boots just fine in the original chassis.

Solution
Enter the bios on the new board and set the sata ports tot he opposite of what it is now and try agai (ignore raid setting if its there)
So if it's set to sata or ahci, change it to IDE,compatibility, or legacy (name changes depending on the motherbd). If its already IDE, change it to sata/ahci.

See if that will get you to boot up now.
