I have 2 hard drives installed both the same 1tb, on 1 hard drive i have 32bit windows 7 and the other 64 bit.
I have been using the 32 bit for some time and all my files are on the first drive so i added a second drive with 64 bit to use this drive for those programs that need 64 bit.
Now my questions is if the computer normally boots in 32 bit mode how do i than change to 64 bit mode to use the programs on the second drive ?
Do i need to reboot system ? also when i reboot i cant use my mouse or keyboard as they are usb connection ?

Thanks

Solution
yes you need to reboot,
there is a option in BIOS the enable usb mouse & keyboard (sometimes called usb Legacy support)

I'm not sure why you would bother to have both 64 and 32bit versions of windows installed on seperate hard drives. ditch the 32bit IMO

in short you cannot.

you have to reinstall programs onto the 64bit version,
well worth doing in the long run as you do not have to update 2 seperate copies of windows,
as well as having information fragmented between 2 hard drives.
