Not sure if this is the correct place to ask but I will anyway.

I'm setting up a home server, I'm using a 32-bit laptop for this. I wanted to use Amahi however it only supports 64-bit. I've had a look around without much luck but does anyone know if there are any / what the best OS would be for this?

Thanks in advance.

Windows Home Server v1 (it was 32-bit) would likely run on this old rig. It is very out of date like XP/Server 2003, but would likely be okay on the old tech....if you can find it.

You should also be able to install a "lite" version of several Linux distros, as mentioned earlier.
