32 gigs of memory on win 7 64 bit

i just upgraded my ram from 16 gig kingston hyper blue 1600mhz to corsair vengence 32 gig 1600mhz. when i check with window,it says 32 gig memory installed but says only 16 gig usable. i am running windows 7 64 bit with the sabertooth 990x motherboard and the amd fx8150 black edition cpu with a 750 watt power supply. should i return the other 16 gig and get my 100.00$ back? or is there a way to make all 32 gig work? i also am running two hd 6770 video cards in crossfire mode. each card is 1 gig each.

Windows 7 Home Premium only allows up to 16GB of ram! You need to get Professional, Enterprise or Ultimate to have up to 192GB usable

I'm quessing your running windows 7 64 Bit Premium. Good old MS capped max memory at 16 gigs. To go above 16 gigs you need the next Higher level pro or Ultimate.

No.

RAM drives under Windows are provided by block device emulation software or drivers that depend on the OS for memory allocation and the low-end Windows editions are hard-coded to allow only 16GB.
