I was looking around for getting a good monitor,im going to be. Using a gtx 1070 gpu ( or maybe gtx1080) and my budget for the monitor would be around 300$(20k rupees).

I found the 32" lg monitor at 18k( full hd , 8ms response)

And generally other 1080p 27" ones at 18-20k.

All 27" 2k and 2k monitors here cost more than 35k (540$)

The only 4k monitor in my budget is a 24" lg .

My main use is gaming and multimedia .

Viewing distance is around 3ft

Please help me decide.

Thanks

32" is too big for a 1080p monitor. I would go for a 27" panel if I were you because the PPI will be to small for that size.

I would highly recommend getting a 144hz panel. The 1070 is a very good GPU and it you run it on a 1080p/60hz panel it would be like driving a sports car in a school zone.

I don't know the pricing in your area, but in the US you can find a 1080p/144hz 27" panel in your price range. I would look for something like this:

At a 3-ft. viewing distance and with a budget for a 1080p-resolution monitor only, the sharpest images where 1080p is worth it is with a screen size of ~23" and below. Anything larger (above 23") at 1080p will appear "pixelated". If you really want the 27" 1080p, you might need to move further back (at approx. 3'6" to 4') to make the image "seem sharp".

The 24" 4K-resolution may look quite sharp at 3', but images/texts/icons would appear much much smaller.

A 1440p-resolution is the best option/sweet-spot at that viewing distance (3') and screen-size (27" to 32").
