32 or 64?

Hello guys,

I decided to try W 8.1 on my Toshiba Satellite P300-133 and i was surprised that requirements are the same as for W 7. So can you help me decide if i should install 32 or 64 bit?

64, unless you have less than 4 GB RAM

64 even if you have less than 4 gig of RAM .

There are NO disadvantages to using 64 bit . There are several potential limitation if you use 32 bit

64bit everytime, the only possible advantage to 32bit is that some old software doesnt work on 64bit, and even that is rare.

Windows 8.1 is very light on resources. Go for 64bit to get the most of it.

64bit, by the way, os there a connection between 64/32bit and your statement about win8 and win7 or were you just saying you are moving towin7?
