Only way to do it is fresh install win 10 64 bit

I assume you have win 10 32 bit now? Download the Windows 10 media creation tool and use it to make a win 10 installer on USB - make sure to get 64 bit version of installer

A full clean install. This, of course, means that everything on that drive or partition is wiped out.
Save to elsewhere, whatever personal files you want. There is no faking around this.
