I replaced my old RAM with a 2x8GB HyperX Fury RGB and when I first booted my PC It just stated 2400MHZ so I went into the BIOS which I have an asrock x570 motherboard and I am not familiar with asrock BIOS but what I did was go into OC tweaker then change the xmp profile from auto to 1 and changed the frequency from 2400 to 3200. Did I do it right?

There are usually 2 XMP profiles but if it's running fine (no errors) that's even better. I'm doing something simmilar. 3600MHz Kingston RAM set XMP to 3000 MHz but speed at 3600 and it's working great with lower Cas latency meant for 3000MHz. and increased performance because of it.
