Hey everyone. I'm really sorry if this question has been answered before, I just need a more specific answer.

So for my gaming - centered build I'm between either a G.Skill Aegis 32GB (2X16GB) DDR4 3200MHz CL16 kit (108 euros) or a Patriot Viper 4 Blackout 32GB (2X16GB) DDR4 3600MHz CL18 kit (128 euros), which I'm planning to pair with a Ryzen 5 5600X (X570 MOBO) and an RTX 3080.

I already have a grasp of the advantages 3600Mhz RAM especially provides to Ryzen processors... What I'm asking though, do you guys think that it's worth it going for the 3600Mhz kit judging by the price difference between the two options?

Thank you so much in advance :)

Solution
With the higher CL 18 of the 3600mhz I believe they will perform near identically. Had they both been CL16 the 3600mhz would be a bit faster.

However my 3200mhz CL16 I overclocked to 3600mhz CL16 and the difference in benchmarks was a handful of FPS. You would never notice in anything other than benchmarks.

20€ difference, yes, Ryzen thrives with fast RAM. It's not only that RAM is faster but CPU gets better scores.
