So, i had this OS lying around from my laptop, and i didn't wanna spend that much money for the OS, so does it have disadvantages when gaming on it?, And if it does, someone link me where i can get the 64bit one for cheap?

You can use the 32 bit license key on a 64 bit install. (I did this).

Just download the official iso file from Microsoft and your your license key during install:

Question: Was that OS preinstalled on the laptop? If so, you can't use it elsewhere.

Nothing, there was a disc which included Windows 8

I'm not sure what this means.

You have a laptop. Was the Windows 8 installed on it when you got it?
Is that disk simply to reinstall on the laptop if you need to?
Is that OS still on the laptop?

No, it wasn't installed, it's still there, just a normal win8 disk, 32bit.

What OS did/does the laptop have on it?
Did this disk come with the laptop?

It has Windows 8.1 currently (Updated)
The disk came with the lapdtop.

OK!
No, you cannot use that disk for your new PC.

1. The license is for that laptop only
2. Updating to Windows 8.1 does not mean you magically have 2 OS licenses to use, the old 8 and the new 8.1.

Again...no, you cannot use that license on a different PC.

If i buy a new license? I save over 50 bucks?
