Hi

I was wondering if there is a big difference between 32gb Ram 2400mhz VS 3200mhz?

I'm an architecture student, so I use Autocad, Revit, Sketch Up, photoshop and some rendering softwares, so it can be heavy and i dont know if 2x16gb 2400mhz (max mHz of my motherboard) will be good enough or if i should also invest in a new motherboard also? Im kindda beginner in building a pc, so if some of you can explain me and help me :)

Heres my current build:

i5 7600k

ASUS prime b250-plus dual channel Motherboard (2400mhz max)

1x8gb DDR4 of Ram Corsair vengeance lpx c14r 2400mhz

Sandisk SSD plus 120gb (i will buy a 500gb at the next black friday)

Thank you!

Look at pricing also. These days, (even though your mobo won't allow it) DDR4-3000 or even 3200 can cost the same as DDR4-2400.

No need to invest in a new mobo just for RAM speed.
