Hey Guys,

I'm kinda stuck and any input would be greatly appreciated!

I have a Asrock X299 Taichi motherboard that I purchased in early 2018. According to there manual it should support up to 256gb of ram. I recently purchased 128gbs of ram to add to the 4 empty slots, but they won't show up. (I current have 4x8gb G.skill 8gb installed) I even tried removing my current ram and just adding the 4 new sticks, but that just results in my computer not starting. This is the ram I purchased: https://www.newegg.com/g-skill-128gb-288-pin-ddr4-sdram/p/N82E16820232992?Item=N82E16820232992

Any ideas of what's going on here? Maybe I need a Bois update? As a side note, has never been successful for me.

My CPU is: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7820X CPU @ 3.60GHz, 3601 Mhz, 8 Core(s), 16 Logical Processor(s)
OS: Microsoft Windows 10 Pro
BIOS Version/Date American Megatrends Inc. P2.00, 2/26/2018
SMBIOS Version 3.0

You think my CPU doesn't support that much RAM?
