Hi,

I'm considering getting this http://www.cclonline.com/product/173258/WD5000AVDS-/Hard-Drives/Western-Digital-AV-GP-500GB-SATA-II-3-5-Hard-Drive-Clean-Pull-/HDD2532/ to record 1080p CS GO footage etc.. I'm a bit concerned that my hard drive might not be able to record without the video lagging. By this, I mean that I have a gaming PC (very good specs) and only one hard drive, tried recording on main hard drive and play on main hard drive but when I playback the video, it is awful and lags like crazy but not in game. Obviously it's the hard drive but my question is, will buying this second hard drive remove this issue? Is the 32MB cache enough to record 1080p footage? What's the difference between 32MB cache and 64MB cache for recording.

Please do reply.

Thank you.
