I am replacing my ryzen 3 3200G with the new 3300X. I have an RX 570 and aren't sure whether to return it or not. I don't know how to check for balance between my CPU and GPU, so I am asking here. Sorry, I know this isn't overclocking related, but it seemed the best subject for the question to go under...

Solution
Throw out the word 'bottleneck' entirely. It's vastly misused and almost universally misunderstood, and 9/10 answers you'll get are similar yet wrong.

Instead ask if a cpu and gpu are a good match for X and Y games and still get decent fps at Z resolution with A storage and B psu and C ram on 1 motherboard in 2 case with 3 budget.

That sets up specific arguments for X Y Z A B C 1 2 3, that most posters can counter or agree with, adding recommendations or pointing out failure points and why.
The 3300X is a quite powerful processor and an incredible value , despite only being 4c/8t, those are eight powerful threads. It seemd to offer about 90-95% of the frame rates of those offered from the 3600.

Naturally, it paired with an RX570 is a large step up over the 3200G.

The earlier, exact same question:
That was the 3100, and since I can't find a way to know if my systems are balanced I come here. Until I know how to pair CPUs and GPUs, I just ask here. I know it is repetitive, but it is the only way that I can find out.
