[SOLVED] 34" Ultrawide Compatibility

Hi I have a quick question - will a 34" Ultrawide 3440x1440 monitor work with my existing computer? It has an old Z68 Ivy Bridge generation chipset with a GTX 970 video card. My friend told me his brother was having issues with his 49" ultrawide monitor where the computer wouldn't boot with it plugged in so he'd have to unplug every time he rebooted. Thanks for the help!

Should work fine. Your friend's brother's issue is unrelated in the basic sense. There would be another cause, whether UEFI issue, software, driver, or odd compatibility issue there.
