I recently purchased the 34 UM 95 34 inch ultrawide monitor 3440x1440. I'm having a problem with tearing when I play games, so far the only game i've tested is titanfall. I have an AMD 280x, i upgraded the drivers, and had a bunch of different problems(seriously never buying another amd gpu).. so i restored the drivers back to where my only problem was just tearing. Does anyone know how i can fix this? If i use the settings in titanfall to eliminate tearing, it does a great job, but there's a slight input lag which in a game like that means certain death. i'm currently running the monitor with a single HDMI.

Also, the back light bleeding on this thing is horrendous... if you are thinking about buying this, beware, i'll probably return it soon. you can't watch a movie on this thing without being distracted by how overwhelmingly bright the corners are in dark scenes.

Basically mate you've spent twice as much money on your monitor as your graphics card and the card cant keep and constantly push out games at the 3440x1440 resolution.

Get a 980ti or a 980 (make sure to get a 6gb or 8gb version), or if you're willing get the new amd fury or fury x card.

Apart from that ^^ make sure to plug it in using display port and you shouldn't have any tearing problems.

So, I used the supplied displayport and the tearing is almost non existent now. with my 280x I have the settings maxed out on insane textures running 2x AA and i maintain 50+ FPS. Still no fix to the backlight bleeding tho
