Hey, I have a 3400G and I'm wanting to upgrade my build with a GTX 1060 3GB.
Is 500W PSU enough?

My PSU is "Kolink Core 500W 80PLUS"

Solution
its rated for 396watt continous power, that 276watt person was refering to incorrect pictures posted on kolink website for this model (picture shows different model, thats why he responded with lower watt numbers)

r5 3400G and gtx1600 are relatively low power devices, your psu should handle it well, if its old PSU, u shoul replace it as it has only 2 year warranty which speaks for it self how good quality unit that is

Wattage wise, yes. Quality wise, no. Is that the only PSU you have access to? Where are you located, what is your budget for a PSU and what is your preferred site for purchase?
Right now, I have the "Kolink Core 500W 80+" and I'm very confused, because I asked before and people told me that it wouldn't work with a GTX 1060 3GB + 3400G but I saw this post "Kolink Core Series 500W Power Supply Review | Play3r " which tests the PSU with a 1060 3GB and a I7-7700K, in the post they said that it runs good with no problems. And the I7-7700K draws more power than my 3400G

Hey, so...

My PSU right now is the "Kolink Core 500W 80+" and I'm wanting to upgrade my build ( Ryzen 5 3400G ) with a GTX 1060 3GB.
I asked if this PSU would word and one person answered saying that this PSU is actually 396W and the other person said it was 276W (???)

I know this is a bad PSU BUT....

I saw this post online " Kolink Core Series 500W Power Supply Review | Play3r ", which tests the I7-7700K ( which draws more power than the 3400G ), the GTX 1060 3GB and my PSU. In the post it says that it runs good with no problems. So I'm very confused.

Please read everything, thanks! :D

Edit: I also found this post, it can be useful I guess " Kolink Core KL-C500 PSU Internals and Load Test | Overclockers UK Forums "

It's bad. Very low quality, bad voltage regulation, low efficiency, missing important protections (OCP, OTP, OPP)
im gonna buy a new one, between these two, the second one is a better deal right?
EVGA BR 500W 80 Plus Bronze (34,81€)
EVGA GD 600W 80 Plus Gold (44,18€)
