3470 vs 3770K?

Just was wondering if I would notice any big difference between the i5-3470 and the i7-3770K in gaming. Thanks in advance!

Yep, you would notice a pretty big difference in performance. But bare in mind that some games are more CPU intensive than others, so you might not notice a massive difference in some games

It really depends on the game, some games are fine with just any old quadcore (I'm not saying the i5-3470 is just any old quadcore, but rather that it would suffice for such applications), and others need a really strong quadcore (an overclocked 3770k). Some even take advantage of HT nowadays. I'll just say that if it were me making this decision right now, I'd definitely go with the 3770k.
