On Newegg's website it says that the Sabertooth 990fx r2.0 can only handle up to 1866 ram, just thought I'd throw that out there

Guys, I now can afford a 3570K with a Z77 Board. Which Is better, the 8350 with 990FX or the Intel one.

8350 with ASrock extreme9
3570K with ASrock Extreme 4 z77

Hmm But I feel like I said before the 990fX Boards will be compatible with the New AMD CPU's so now? Also I can run Xfire with any 990FX boards at x16

yes they will.

but intel 3570k still faster . and overclocked is beast.

so if u want slower fps than go amd. u are only gaming if u told me video editing. encoding. and 3d design be different but ur only gaming.

its just an opinion. if u look at many benchmarks the 3570k is faster. not always by much but is. and when overclocked no competition asked.

simple answer as said before 3570k if ur a pure gamer. if u do more than gaming 8350
