It'd fit fine, but then you'd need DDR3 1600 /DDR3 1866 to take advantage of the GPU capabilites. Like we said, get a dedicated card, even a 100 dollar one if you can will work better

You must use the pcie 6 pin adaptor that comes with the card, it splits into two molex connectors. Then plug one connector to one string, and the other to the second molex string.
If the fan goes noisy there is a rubber plug on the fan to oil it. You might need a molex to sata power adaptor too.

It has been confirmed that this cheap-o power supply does actually power a HD-4870 and a 125 watt athlon64-X2 6000+ under full gaming loads.

In another system one is powering a FX-4170 and Geforce 560ti.

This budget power supply would be better. But you are depending on the rebate coming in.

-There is no point in buying your main hdd twice.
This was the point behind my maybe not so good ide 120 gig, it's only $17 to waste. When it dies or fills up you will need to buy a hdd like this 1tb seagate anyway.

-Please note that only that older AM3+ board has ide on it, most boards no longer have a ide connector.

You will want to switch to a amd card because most of the budget boards are crossfire and lack sli.

The Pentium G620 is close in speed to the budget amd quad core i picked out for gaming.

They are fairly easy on wattage so two should run on that power supply later on.

-Watch out because alot of hd-7770's lack crossfire support.

One coolmax recently died it was 3 years old, maybe the 560ti was too much for it. I would stick with antec, corsair, ocz, seasonic. I don't use or buy coolmax, locally they are $19.99 so often people bring me computers with them in it already and i to try and make it work.
