Hi,

I'm trying to build a cheap PC just for media editing and a little bit of gaming such as COD 4 etc. So nothing to powerful at all, although I do want it to be fast and efficient.

I've come across these parts and I was wondering if it is all compatible and would create the system I desire

PROCESSOR
AMD x4 A8-5600K Quad Core 3.6Ghz FM2

MOTHERBOARD
MSI FM2-A55M-E33 FM2 AMD A55

RAM
Patriot Gamer2 PGD34G1600ELK 4G Kit(2Gx2) DDR3 1600
http://www.msy.com.au/product.jsp?productId=7226

CASE
Thermaltake VN900A1W2N Commander MS-II Black USB3.0 Mid Tower Case

PSU
Coolermaster Extreme Power Plus RS-500 Watt

HARDDRIVE
Hitachi 2.5" TravelStar 500GB SATA HDD
http://www.msy.com.au/product.jsp?productId=2316

NETWORK CARD (to make it WIFI)
ASUS PCE-N10 Wireless-N 150M PCI-E Network Card

What do you guys think and will it be compatible, Thanks in advance :)
also is there anything I may be missing? (apart from a graphics card as I hear that the CPU/GPU is fine for what I want [apparently])

I don't recommend your build much. Case isn't that nice and neither is psi or ram.

That will include all the parts you need, and the processor is the tiger direct link.

If you don't want to go that route with a Phenom, then we can go with an apu.

APU route.
