350 watts ups with 600 watts psu

Hello,my system intel i5, hd 1 tb,ati 2600 512mb,350 watts ups and 600 watts psu, then my pc just suddenly power out and i keep on turning it on then shuts down unexpectedly again i keep on turning it on but always shutting in a min.please help

You can use the non-battery sockets on the UPS so you have surge protection.

What UPS do you have? How old is it? Did it ever run OK with your PC?

its new 350 watts ups syndome we just built the pc ourselves it runs well for 1 week then this problem occurs, is it the white socket u mean?

That sounds barely like English. It could be the PSU itself or some kind of heat problem. Try plugging it straight in.

Im thinking it might be a PFC (power factor correction) issue with the UPS and PSU.

Yeah, without UPS.

I don't think the PFC stuff is real. Only on certain PSU's does it seem to be a problem, and that makes it an implementation problem not an inherent one. Mine has no such problem with my CyberPower 900 watt LCD PSU.
