Hi, I am looking at a 4670 1gb Powercolor Graphics card. Or any 4670 1gb
My PSU is 350w and I dont know if it can handle the 4670.

My specs are:
q6600 2.4ghz
2x1gb ram 800mhz
500g hdd
40g hdd (ide)
8400gs

(Sorry if I do anything wrong. This is my first post!)

Can my computer handle this graphics card. If not, what would be a good upgrade??

Just found out that it is a 400w PSU

And I might plan on getting a 9600gt low power edition if possible

A Big no to that psu, You should save up for a quallity psu like a antec earthwatt should suit you well or a corsair . Seeing as your not that power hungry a 400 watt supply would suit you fine tho, as long as its a quallity one

Edit: G31 mobo

Let's put it this way, your PSU would probably have a lot better chance of running the 4670 than the 9600gt. And why worry about the 9600gt? The 4670 and 9600gt are pretty close in performance already. The 9600gt low power edition may not even be better than the 4670. Or if it is, maybe not by enough to worry about.

ok then if i go for the 4670, which one should i pick 1gb or 512?

cos i looked up the specs and the 1gb version seems to be worse than the 512?
i got a res of 1680x1050
