Negative. Take the psu back and get a proper psu for that mobo and the system.
What are the system specifications: cpu, ram, video card brand and model, # of hard drives.
The design of that psu is very old school, doesn't even have active PFC. Good brand, but possibly not enough power nor reliability.

There is no video card. It's going to be running on a i3 3220, 8 gb of pny ram, with a 500gb hard drive.
How about an adapter like this? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812119267

zeffof, this is your sister's rig; how happy is she going to be if the psu dies and takes her pc parts with it? There are real engineering reasons why that PSU doesn't have an 8pin EATX plug.
SR71 has found a killer deal on a good psu for the pc, give it a try.

I guess you guys probably know best, I'll go ahead and order the power supply then and return the antec to newegg. Thank you for your help/suggestions.
