360/ASUS VK246H help!

Hey all, I currently have an ASUS VK246H LCD monitor. The problem is I would like to use my xbox 360 through it. The problem being my 360 is a first gen. console with no HDMI out. I was wondering if there is a way to convert the component out on my 360 to either HDMI, VGA, or DVI to use with my monitor? I read somewhere that the monitor would need to support component over DVI to allow for a simple adapter, which I doubt my monitor does.

You are gonna have to buy a device in order to do so. You can try to Google for a direct composite to VGA cable, but I don't think it is possible given that the signals need to be combined from composite ports to a unified VGA signal.
