Hi all,

I just built my first PC, I'm a complete beginner at this. I have an AMD 3 3200G processor, an ASRock B550M Pro4 motherboard, and have TridentZ Neo DDR4-3600 (8GBx2) sticks installed in my A2 and B2 slots (which I'm told is correct).

Problem is, when I run BIOS, my memory shows up as 2133 MHz. I changed the OV tweaker and XMP setting from auto to XMP 2.0 and changed frequency from auto to DDR4-3600. Voltage is at 1.35.
I click save and exit, it restarts, but still shows up as 2133 in BIOS.

Not sure what I'm doing wrong, but wondering if anyone has encountered this and any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Where is it till showing that it’s 2133? Because the bios home page will still show 2133 but if you have xmp enabled to 3600 it will only show that on the xmp settings.

Download CPUZ and look at the ram frequencies.

In cpu-z the ram speed should show up as 1800MHz± at 3600MHz settings. (Dual data rate). If it shows ram as 1066MHz± then you are definitely at 2133MHz.
so i downloaded cpu z and it says my uncore frequency is 1064 mhz, and my DRAM frequency as 933 mhz... so yes I think it's coming in at 2133 mhz
