https://www.newegg.com/asus-prime-trx40-pro-s/p/N82E16813119260?Item=N82E16813119260

this is the motherboard which says "DDR4 4666(O.C.)/ 4600(O.C)/ 4400(O.C)/ 4333(O.C.)/ 4266(O.C.)/ 4133(O.C.)/ 3800(O.C.)/ 3733(O.C.)/ 3466(O.C.)/ 3400(O.C.)/ 3200/ 2933/ 2800/ 2666/ 2400/ 2133 MHz ECC and non-ECC, Un-buffered Memory "

I dont see 3600 on there.

The ram I want is this

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07YV9VYYY/ref=ox_sc_saved_title_1?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1

Also according to this https://pangoly.com/en/compatibility/asus-prime-trx40-pro/ram my ram doesnt show up on that list.

I wanted to double check here but it seems odd that it woudlnt be supported by this level of motherboard. Thanks!

I would do some further research. The motherboard support page does show compatibility for one Corsair 3600MHz 2 x 32GB kit: CMK64GX4M2D3600C18(Ver5.49) on the fourth page.

The Amazon page does not show any version information but does have the same model number otherwise, but I would study the support page information and insure the model is identical as I have seen Corsair issues with some AMD builds.

very odd. I was actually trying to buy that kid to match it to what i currently have which is model number "CMK64GX4M4D3600C18". Notice the M4D vs M2D difference. I wonder if it matters if I mix those model numbers even though all else is the same

actually this refers to module number. I assume that means how many is in the pack. Pretty sure they are the same exact ram and should be just fine working together
