[SOLVED] 3600Mhz RAM Running at 1800Mhz

Hi,

I am new to the whole High-End PC Building Scene and haven't used XMP or even overclocked RAM before. I purchased a kit of 16GB 3600Mhz from G.Skill. I first used an XMP available and noticed that my RAM when using AIDA64 or anything like that would show my memory clocked at 1800Mhz. Then I went to manually tuning the OC for the RAM and still AIDA64 would only show 1800Mhz.

I started wondering if I was doing something wrong. Please Advise.

Programs read memory's true single clock rate. You just times it by two for DDR.
