Question 370 or B450?

Gigabyte Aorus GA-AX370-Gaming K7 or Msi B450 Tomahawk ,i can get these motherboards for around the same price( x370 121€ and the B450 for 117€) to pair with a ryzen 2600.

For a 2600, the X370 will likely need a BIOS update to support it. Only the B450 will support it out of the box, unless the X370 specifically states it supports 2000 series.

If the BIOS is updated, personally, I'd opt for the X370.

Yeah i can update the bios since i can get my hands on ryzen 1600 just to update the bios

What makes you favor the x370?

Mostly with a view to the future upgrade potential. There's a better VRM structure on that X370 board in particular, which I would be more confident in for an 8c/16t (like a 2700X) or the greater core count 3000 series.

At stock ,with a 2600, both should perform near identically. But, for the same money, I think the X370 makes the most sense to keep upgrade options open.
