Hello there!
So in my hype for 5700xt i decided to put my old 1060, tap on its back and put in a box for great service, alas urge for stream came along and enjoying my 5700xt as it is the Encoder is to put it bluntly dog sh*t. Now I don't have out of this world specs which I will provide but streaming x264 with medium brings too much lag to stream and putting it any higher (faster+) makes the stream lose quality to a point where I just lost hope.

So is streaming 720p 60 or 1080p 60 be possible with 3700x upgrade while using x264 on medium?

Mobo : A320m-DGS
Cpu : Ryzen 5 2600
Gpu : 5700xt Pulse
Ram : 2x8gb
Storage : 256gb Ssd, 1tb Seagate hdd

To clarify I wasn't intending on streaming, I know my video recording stuff but not streaming one and it's surprisingly really good although software is still meh, too bad I got an urge for streaming otherwise i wouldn't have this issue.

(And yes I'm a idiot 😅)

While this is technically correct it depend a great deal on the game, if the game itself uses up most of the 3700x and there are plenty that will (not because they need to but just because they do) , then streaming will be very difficult and you might not be able to get even 720/60.

Bare in mind I don't intend on streaming PUBG, Apex and other mainstream games, most cpu heavy game I'll probably stream is Monster Hunter World, apart from that I'm more or less delving into ARPGs
