[SOLVED] 3700x too hot?

I wonder if the r7 3700x is still too hot in 2020? I was going to buy it, but there are some people who say the 3950x or 3900x is not too hot than 3700x. And is Noctua NH U14S good with it, even OC?

Who said it’s too hot? For what it is the 3700x runs reasonably cool even on stock cooler.

This is a comment in an AMD group in Vietnam and I translated it as: "There is a fact that 3950x or 3900x is no hotter than 3700x".

That is just not true. On the same cooler the 3950x and 3900x could run hotter under high workload due to higher TDP. I have a 3700X and I would call it a cool running cpu.

I have a 3800x, it runs normally with just a Corsair H60 AIO. Ran fine with the stock cooler but it ca get loud.
