So I'm having an issue of I want to stream games without any FPS loss and I know that not really down to the graphics card but the motherboard so i'm wondering what would be the better solution for me. I want the processor 3930k but I also want a titan graphics card. I can only have either one (It's complicated) so.

Should I get a 3770k and a titan, then in the future I can buy another and SLi the titan.
Or
Should I get the 3930k and 2 680's?

If you guys can suggest a better option it would be appreciated! If you need anything else just ask. I'm a gamer and I like to play all my games at max on 1080p reso.

The way I see it, 1 x GTX 680 is more than enough if you are gaming at 1920x1080p. And if yo are streaming then you want something like 2 x GTX 670 or you can go on and grab 2xGTX 680 as you want. So, if you can afford it, I say grab the 3930K with a single Titan for now then another later. No need to get 2x GTX 680 when you can get Titan. Overkill, yes but you will be guaranteed good fps while streaming due to the wide bus of 384-bit from Titan and more vRAM at 6GB.

I can only get 3930k and 2x680 or 3770k with titan.

I was going to go with the Sabertooth Z77 but since it's a 2011 socket I'm now not sure which board to get. 😛

Plus I was going to get a noctua cooler but now I'm not sure it will fit... Lol

Then get the 3770K with Titan. What's your case and what else have you gotten already?

Save money and do this: Get the 3770K with 2GTX 680 and Sabertooth Z77 if your heart is set on SLI. You can OC the CPU to 4.5 and OC the GPUs and voila. There's not much difference at all when you are running 8/8 or 16/16 since the cards can't yet reach the maximum levels of PCI-E 16 bandwith capabilities.

Oh 😛 Okay! Will the 3770k be enough for streaming at 1080p? As I plan to stream and I don't want it to have a performance impact on my games since I like to run them on max settings. I want to run crysis 3 on MAAAXX settings (had to be emphasised lol) at 1920x1080 with 40fps or higher

And I don't know much about OC'ing and will the noctua be able to cool the 3770 OC'd?

Streaming tends to be very hard on the CPU. I recommend the 3930K. Streaming at 1080p with ~30FPS will easily load a Quad, probably even the 6 core.

Oh yes yes! I have been eyeing that too. And LG 1155 is not dead, it will last you for 4 years but I do see the point of getting a more future proof platform. And if that's what you want then grab the 3930K, grab the 2x GTX 680 which outperform a single Titan, grab ASUS P9X79 Deluxe, Noctua-DH14, low profile RAM and a good 850-1000 Watts PSU!

Yes it can. Loot at my second last reply. I went with the 3930K due to streaming and you should be fine.

I just read around and it says the Noctua-DH14 doesn't fit a 2011? Is this a mistake by the site or doesn't it? And I was going to get this mobo Asus Rampage IV Formula Battlefield 3 Edition Motherboard because it comes with meaning i Don't have to spend an extra £70 on Windows HP lol

Should I just spend an extra £50 on a water cooler? H100i

They have a special edition for 2011. So yes it does fit.

If you want to then sure but just got for air cooling since Noctua-DH 14 trades blows with top notch watercoolers, the all in one type like H100i and such.

Here's the build you want and I hope you like it!

Thanks dude your the best!

You're very welcome. I hope that it all works out for you. I have been looking at that case for sometime now. I am currently modding my Haf XM but I want the 900D if it won't be too much or I will have to settle for the FT02 since it's one the best cases around and you can't go wrong for that price. Cheers!

Want me to give you my opinion on the case when I buy it? 😀

Yes please. Do add me to your contact list and let me know how it is. I would like to get the silver one since the black one is in such short supply here in Canada. Thanks! 😀

Well you could get the LGA 2011 sabertooth. Also the X79 Extreme6 is a great board with fast boot time

one of if not the best air coolers on the market
