I have a important question for y'all today, "Which CPU can handle better two RTX 2080's connected via SLI, the ryzen 7 3800X or the intel core i9 9900K/F?"

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thank you.

Solution
Many of the SLI tests I've seen recently show nice higher 60-70% jumps in average FPS , but, actually lower 1% lows....which is unacceptable...

Ergo, if your going to spend 2080Ti money (i.e., a pair of 2080s), might as well get a 2080Ti...

I've also considered changing the CPU to a 3900X OR instead of the two RTX 2080's I'll do two 2070 supers

Any kind of Rendering > 3900X or 3800X
4K Gaming or VR with a big SLI like that> 3900X,9900K,3800X,9700K.. you don't see much of a difference since the GPU's are doing all the work.
1080p/1440p and your looking for MAX FPS at all cost> 9900K but it's not hugely ahead

The real question is, "which will make the bigger bottleneck, if even?"
