I have the same amount (1x128 + 1x256) under windows 98 SE. I know that people say that windows can't use this much RAM, however I think it helped. Perhaps it was placebo, however, I know that too much RAM is never a bad thing. My 2 cents!

Can't hurt.
If you got it, use it.
I have 256 now in WinME. I know when going from 128 to 256 I didn't see any performance increase execpt my games loaded faster, that's it. If you don't play games, you can just send me all your extra ram.

Should help, especially when you're using applications that take up a lot of RAM.

A real operating system like Windows NT, 2000, or Linux will take advantage of 384mb of RAM. Unless you're running Photoshop or AutoCAD, you're wasting your time using ME. You know ME is probably going to be the shortest lived upgrade/OS that Microsoft has released?
