3850 v. 1950 pro

I've seen the benchmarks for the 3850, post-NDA. I'm torn between that and the 1950 Pro (the 8800 GT has gone all out of my reach because I had to buy a train ticket yesterday, an Acela train ticket). Since the benchmarks of the 1950 Pro for DX 9.0c aren't up there, I can't make effective comparisons. Thoughts?

3850, definately. Its way faster than 1950 Pro in most cases.

Hell, the 3850 will even beat the X1950 XT in most cases.

The X1950 PRO is far behind the 3850.

yeah, listen to these guys. if you have the money, go for the HD 3850. The firingsquad review has the X1950 pro in it and as you can see, it's no contest. The 3850 wins at every game and while sometimes it's not by much, othertimes it's twice as fast.
