Right now in my build im running a 2700x with the corsair hydro series h100i (120mm, 2 fan) and ive been running it for a year and have been running good temps. I plan on upgrading to the 3900x here soon and using the same cooler.

How much hotter does the 3900x run compared to the 2700x? Will this cooler be good enough to keep it at a good temperature at gaming loads?

Yeah, I've just heard that some liquid coolers are better and 280mm fans are better for cooling. Just don't want to run the cpu too hot. Right now with my 2700x I'm running around 60 Celsius give or take when I'm gaming, which I've heard is good. Just don't know how much hotter the 3900x runs in comparison.

Also, I've been running with the stock fans on default fan speeds I would guess since I've never altered them in Icue program. Is that something I should look into for better cooling?
