So I had the stock AMD cooler while I waited for the new bracket for my H100i

I finally decide to change everything out and my pc won’t post at all. No fans spinning. Only the LEDs on the MOBO will come on.

I had a bent pin but was able to straighten everything out with a razor, it seems I have no bent or missing pins. I borrowed a friends B450 mobo to function check my 3900x and I’m still getting nothing.

I borrowed a friends B450 mobo to function check my 3900x and I’m still getting nothing.
At this point, it could be either of the three:
  1. B450 chipset MoBos need latest BIOS for them to work with Ryzen 3000 series CPUs. Without latest BIOS, it doesn't work.
  2. Your CPU is dead (most likely due to the bent pin).
  3. B450 MoBo itself doesn't work (dead MoBo).

Here, i'd put Ryzen 2000 or 1000 series CPU into B450 chipset MoBo and look if it has latest BIOS or not. If not, upgrade the BIOS to the latest one. After which, try again with your Ryzen 3000 series CPU. If you still don't get anything, your Ryzen 3000 series CPU is toast.

Ended up getting everything sorted. I’m guessing I had a SLIGHTLY bent pin that I couldn’t see
