Hi,
Just got my H90 and turned up the fan speed then set the CPU Gradually up to 4.8 and its running 1.5v. just wondering if its bad to run it like this 24/7 or should i drop it lower. I'm still new to overclocking so my knowledge is pretty basic.

Thank you

As a note i ran Far Cry 4 and the temps went up to 61-68. As an estimate just how much would it potentially reduce the life by.

With a processor that powerful, you don't need to overclock for performance. I'm assuming you do it for the same reason I do, just for fun. I would say you should downclock it so that your temps are closer to 55-60 when you want to game. But that is just as a precaution.

You could probably keep it running at those temps and be just fine though. I don't have any experience with running an Intel processor close to the thermal limit for extended amounts of time.

What is the primary use of this PC?

It's kind of multi purpose, I run three screens. I game on either one or three, sometimes have YouTube or something open on another screen. What Volts/ GHz would you recommend for day to day running. Plus i work from 9-5 so the time I'm on it is mostly evenings or weekends.
