3D G4ME 1 or Xonar DSX?

I have just purchased the Sennheiser 363D, and I still have one Xonar DSX from the time I used the Tiamat headset.
Should I use the Asus sound card or the Sennheiser USB sound card?

Also, any recommendations for the 363D?
Such as new sound cards or specific settings.

Solution
Th USB sound card bundled with the headset is apparently recommended by Sennheiser in order for you to take advantage of the 7.1 surround sound feature. In essence this is merely a virtual 5.1/7.1 surround sound feature and it entails upmixing from a stereo source. You could experiment with using their headset with your soundcard and see if any changes occur with and without the Xonar.

One point to note though that all sound processing will take place on the USB for your headset if you're using the USB sound card irrespective of having the Xonar installed or not. You may want to also note that the USB sound card isn't essential as you can plug it into the Xonar without any complications since it has 3.5mm connectors.

I can't suggest...

I can't suggest settings since each user has their own preference with listening so my best suggestion would be to experiment and find your sweat spot. You're good either way with the USB card or he Xonar IMO at least.
