240hz...? Must me a TV. Sorry to inform you, but no TV's have a refresh rate higher than 60hz. When they advertise "240hz", they achieve it through frame interpolation, which makes movies and programs look smoother, but creates horrible input lag and makes games unplayable. The only way that I know of to play PC games in 3D on a TV is Nvidia 3DTV Play. However, it's limited to 720p resolution and frame packing, which looks far from nice when stretched out on a big TV. You also need an Nvidia card for this to work.
The real solution is a 3D monitor. These have true 120hz refresh rates, and are capable of displaying games in 3D with full resolution. Looks so much better than using a TV.
I have both, and while the 3D TV is good for movies and PS3 games, I do all my PC gaming on the monitor, because it's way better.
