I was searching online to find out what 3d mark is the best/newest and someone stated that 3d mark advanced is the newest and is only used for monster machines. Is my pc considered a monster machine that its worth buying 3d mark advanced?

Solution
As an end-user, it's not usually not needed to buy 3D Mark, the basic free one is fine. If you were doing reviews of systems and video cards, then you would want to purchase the full version. Of if you really wanted to customize the tests to stress your system and see how it runs with higher settings.

Your system is a high end one, there is no need to run a benchmark, it's fast enough for any game. Only time you would want to run it is if you are comparing systems or having an issue with games running slowly to find out if it's the games or the system.

Thank you for a straight and explained answer to my question. So only if i have an issue with modern games? I had issue with lost planet extreme condition and fallout 3 but it turned out to be Microsoft faulty windows update for direct x that was causing it. Would 3d mark be worth it if i have issues with some older games or not?
