I recently got a GTX 970 and ran a 3D mark benchmark to see what my scores were like. I was using an AMD FX 6300 and was getting around 3000 which was extremely low compared to other people. I made a post about it and people told me to uninstall old drivers, which I did, and it did not change much. I upgraded to an i5-4690K with ASUS z97 mobo and ran 3D mark to see what my scores are like right after I install my CPU and Mobo. Link of my scores I just got... 3531. WAY lower than other people with my exact GPU/CPU combo. I do not understand what is going on. Is 3D Mark not accurate? Am I doing something wrong?

According to the details button, which compares your system to others that are very similar, your score is on the higher side of normal.

Are you comparing the same benchmark? 3dmark Firestrike had higher scores than 3dmark Time Spy. There is nothing wrong with your system according to your link.

Wow, I did not realize that I was comparing Firestrike scores to Time Spy... running Firestrike to see what scores I get.

Edit: scores were pretty close to most!
