3d moniter for XFX HD 6850

Hi,
I just got a loada money and i want to spend it on A 3d moniter (around 21-24 inch) and ive heard that The HD 6000 series only supports a certain type of 3d moniter, So can some one recomend a moniter for around 120-150 pounds either new or on ebay or something, any advice is much appreciated, thanks

i honestly dont think a 6850 is powerful enough to give you a good enough framerate to run 3d.

Oh right, could you sugest a graphics card that would be good for 3d? thanks for your reply

For AMD, you need a monitor with an HDMI 1.4a connection or displayport. The displayport support was just added to the most recent beta drivers. You'll want displayport if you plan to game at 1080p 3D.

However, if you are upgrading your card, you'd be best off going with an Nvidia setup. At least a 560ti or better would be best. You'll also want a monitor that has a dual link DVI port and you'll need an Nvidia 3D glasses kit.
