what are your opinions on these two printers?

Leaning towards the forge, but my experience with the L and not getting more than 3 prints off it is making me consider the Jupiter. Wound up Selling the L for a L/loss.

So far, my trusty saturn 2 is pretty reliable, but still looking for a large format printer that is the same...

thanks!

What are the specific 3D printing requirements?

In other words what functions and features are needed/required for 3D printing purposes?

What is the budget?

People will have differing Opinions and Experiences. That is to be expected and generally good.

However, if you can quantify the operational and performance requirements then that information will prove useful to anyone offering specific 3D printer suggestions.

hey all...

I eventually wound up going with the mega 8ks. that I THOUGHT was out already, but apparently does not ship till november. spent a day or so looking around for reviews while I waited for replies, and decided to give the new guy on the block a try.

as far as parameters. speed would be nice, but not neccesary. Build volume is the main requirment. and reliability is the second. I almost went with an apex-1 kickstarter, but did not want to risk trying a new company.
so, I decided to stick with phrozen for the time being.

Curious about this as well. I thought about the jupiter as well but I am just getting started with 3D printing resin or filament. I would likely be making models and possibly plastic parts for vehicles and other similar things. Any thoughts on a good choice? I checked out the suggestions and thought it odd that the 12k res printer is half the price of the Jupiter
