Hello!

I need people who have, or have considered, building their own PC.

Your opinions will help shape my ideas into an applicable design, which could be a really interesting application for 3D printing ...

It might be a really fun (and possibly slow) process, I don't know how much faster newer 3d printers complete a project. Not sure how functional it would be. The trouble being the layered plastic or whatever the material is since it wouldn't be molded or extruded plastic. Although there have been some stout project made, I'm not entirely sure how they did it (if it required any machining afterward) like the liberator. (No I don't suggest that project, just a disclaimer lol).

I've considered building my own although I don't really have the skills for metal working. Mostly because typical cases seem to be 'stuck' on the same design and I'm not really convinced the layout is the most efficient. Motherboard upright, drives in the front, psu top or bottom. Often wondered if there was a way to consolidate things and make a case more compact while still offering full atx support and proper cooling.
