Hi Gurus,
I am struggling to put together a partlist for a system built. To learn and use for 3D modeling rendering and some video editing.
Few questions i have.
1. ivy bridge or haswell ?
2. RAM should i get 2133 or 1866
Please see the parts list here.
Appreciate all the inputs.
My maximum budget is 2500.

Thank you Ahmed.
I may OC. wouldn't it better to have 2133 ram ? also, If i need 32GB wouldn't it better to buy 4 x 8GB ?

1866Mhz RAM with lower timings and 1.5v would be better than 2133Mhz 1.65v RAM and I added 4x4GB because of quad channel, but you can get 8GB sticks!

Thank you Ahmadjon, Perfect answer. May i bother you with another question. THe graphic card. Quadro K4000 or GTX 780. so confused. Mostly i will be using this computer for 3D rendering. like 3Dmax and i-ray or vray or metal ray. if student version is not available, then Blender or some other open source software. OR if you think any other graphic card is better for the purpose, please suggest.

In 3D rendering mostly you'll need high capacity RAM and powerful CPU instead of powerful graphics card!

For 3D rendering I would recommend a couple of things for you, first, use 2 smaller SSD's in RAID to prevent a bottleneck (That is where system bottlenecks are happening on high end systems these days). Second do not use a pre-made water cooler, especially if you are going to O.C. the CPU (they're not really designed very well, you can build one from XSPC that will work well. Third, you need to match the memory speed of the O.C. bus (I recommend Corsair Dominator, it's a little more expensive, but well worth it). Fourth, You definitely want to go with the Haswell processor, they're much more efficient. You might want to also use a 750 watt PSU, in case you want to add additional storage later.

Stick with the quadro they have CUDA and GPUcompute capabilities that are far superior to that of regular gaming cards hence the much higher prices.
